About
Hickory Music Factory is a performing arts school that Tony Eltora and Rick Cline founded in 2012. It gives students and community members a welcoming place to learn, create and experience music, and it works to remove barriers such as cost, learning differences and physical disabilities. Serving more than 300 registered families, it offers private lessons, ensembles and classes, plus chances every month for students of all ages to perform. Its teachers believe that making music together and performing often are key to a musician's growth. With help from Arts Culture Catawba, the City of Hickory and local partners, it aims to keep music education affordable across the Greater Hickory region.
