About
The Surry Arts Council brings arts and cultural experiences to its community and sees the arts as an important part of local life, all guided by financially responsible leadership. It hosts shows and other events at the Andy Griffith Playhouse, including the Mayberry Days events, and screens first-run movies, with fresh popcorn, at the Earle. The council's Arts Center, across from the Playhouse, is now home to the Original Siamese Twins Museum, which has opened to visitors.
