About
LeGrand Center in Shelby is an event venue built through a partnership of three local bodies: Cleveland County Schools, the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners, and the Cleveland Community College Foundation Board. It was first meant for corporate needs such as satellite offices, hiring events and meetings, but it has grown to host large events such as the Commanders Reception for the American Legion World Series and the American Heart Association Heart Ball. Its spaces range from conference rooms to halls for up to a thousand guests, less than an hour from Charlotte.
