About this event

This Southern Circuit screening shows “American Pachuco: The Legend of Louis Valdez,” then a talk with executive producer Steve Ives. The film traces how Valdez went from migrant farmworker to revolutionary artist, reshaping American culture through El Teatro Campesino and works such as Zoot Suit and La Bamba. Ives also directs and writes, and he founded Insignia Films. The film runs 1:32:00. Capacity is limited and tickets must be reserved.
