About this event

This screening of They Dream is followed by a conversation with filmmaker William D. Caballero. The film shows a director and his mother spending 20 years chronicling their Puerto Rican family, then making animations that bring loved ones back to life. It runs 1:26:00. Caballero blends documentary, animation and handcrafted miniature worlds, and created the HBO series Gran'Pa Knows Best. The screening is part of the South Arts Southern Circuit tour, funded in part by South Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Capacity is limited, so reserving tickets is advised.
