About this event

This film centers on the Het Noordbrabants Museum show Hieronymus Bosch – Visions of Genius, the largest Bosch retrospective, which gathered 36 of his 44 surviving works in Den Bosch in 2016 and drew over 420,000 visitors. Curators and critics, including Peter Greenaway, Rachel Campbell-Johnston and Dr. Charles de Mooij, discuss the artist's life and the sources of his strange works. Close-up views reveal details hidden in his paintings, from cannibalistic clergymen to three- headed birds.
