About
The Carolina Philharmonic is a symphony orchestra that aims to break down the barrier between stage and audience, creating a warm, visceral setting where music feels as fresh as when the composer first imagined it. Maestro Wolff launched the orchestra fifteen years ago with a goal of welcoming audiences of all ages and asking for their help in offering music education to children. Its three education programs serve 3,500 children each year in Moore County, partly through Link Up, a program run with Carnegie Hall and an Encore! Kids program for K-5 students. In all it has reached over 20,000 local children.
