About
Bradshaw Performing Arts Center, known as BPAC, is the arts and event complex of Sandhills Community College, dedicated in 2019. It has five venues, three indoors and two outdoors, and draws more than 80,000 visitors a year from all 50 states to over 200 events: music, theatre, dance and comedy, along with lectures and visual arts exhibits. A number of independent nonprofit arts groups hold Partner status, using BPAC as their artistic home base, with status reviewed every year. The center is named for Stan and Jean Bradshaw, supporters of the college whose gift made the facility possible. Its stated aim is to serve students, faculty and the wider community with modern theatrical spaces that bring top talent to the region.
